How are courses recommended for children (K–12) at CLAA?
The Classical Liberal Arts Academy provides course recommendations based on a student’s age and modern grade level, while maintaining a focus on classical Catholic studies.
The recommendations:
- are organized by age and grade (K–12)
- include both classical Catholic studies and modern academic subjects
- are intended to help families satisfy modern educational requirements while prioritizing classical education
These recommendations are guidelines. Students may study courses at their own pace and are not strictly limited to grade-level assignments
CLAA distinguishes between:
- classical Catholic studies (such as Latin, philosophy, and theology)
- modern studies (such as mathematics, science, and language arts)
These two areas are treated separately so that modern requirements can be completed efficiently without interfering with classical studies
